This is my first assignment as a stage design major. First of all, the teacher asked us to watch a horror film, as I never watch horror films. It was a big challenge, but I chose to read one of the Shining. Because it is said that the Shining, he does not have particularly bloody and violent images, just secretly, will make you feel a little bit behind the chill. So, I chose this.I started with the color and plot of the Shining. And I wrote an essay. Next, I want to do something like a little scene. So I first drew a sketch, and the problems was the color scheme in the Shining is very bright, so I don't know how to make it scary. So I decided to divide the whole shape into three layers, so as to look more rich. But I made many mistakes in drawing the subway carpet pattern that originally looked very simple.
